Nagios Training

A flexible open source monitoring system for monitoring services and infrastructure.

Nagios is used extensively to provide around the clock monitoring of critical and non-critical systems at all levels of the enterprise.

credativ's Nagios training includes:

  • Installing Nagios from source or pre-compiled packages
  • Configuring hosts and service checks
  • Working with the Nagios web interface for an overview of status of all systems and to configure system downtime
  • Inheriting configuration from hostgroups, servicegroups and generic hosts and services
