Squid Support & Consultancy
Squid is a caching proxy for the Web supporting HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and more. It reduces bandwidth and improves response times by caching and reusing frequently-requested web pages. Squid has extensive access controls and makes a great server accelerator. It runs on most available operating systems, including Windows and is licensed under the GNU GPL.
Squid is open source software, which means that the user has the ability to change and customise it for their needs. Our consultants can provide expert support to manage and administer Squid installations.
credativ has the largest dedicated open source support team in Europe, with the capability to offer up to 24x7 coverage for any Squid installation. Our support contracts are priced competitively, starting at just £145 per month. This will cover any free software used by the customer - see our Open Source Support Centre for more.
Supported Distributions
credativ's Squid support covers all of our supported distributions, including Debian, Ubuntu, Red Hat, SuSE, openSuSE, CentOS, Xandros, OpenBSD, FreeBSD and more.
Other Squid services
We are also able to offer training for Squid or other Web services projects, as well as general consultancy and project management.
