Eclipse Support & Consultancy
Eclipse is a multi-language software development environment comprising an integrated development environment (IDE) and an extensible plug-in system. It is written primarily in Java and can be used to develop applications in Java and, by means of the various plug-ins, in other languages including C, C++, COBOL, Python, Perl, PHP, and others.Eclipse employs plug-ins in order to provide all of its functionality on top of (and including) the runtime system, in contrast to some other applications where functionality is typically hard coded. The runtime system of Eclipse is based on Equinox, an OSGi standard compliant implementation.credativ supports Eclipse on the Linux, Mac OSX, Windows and OpenSolaris platforms.
Eclipse is open source software, which means that the user has the ability to change and customise it for their needs. Our consultants can provide expert support to manage and administer Eclipse installations.
credativ has the largest dedicated open source support team in Europe, with the capability to offer up to 24x7 coverage for any Eclipse installation. Our support contracts are priced competitively, starting at just £199 per month. This will cover any free software used by the customer - see our Open Source Support Centre for more.
