The Kolab groupware server offers:

  • Support for mixed clients in production environments (KDE: Kontact groupware client, Outlook: Konsec/Toltec connector, Web client: Horde).
  • Web administration interface (with support for English, German, French and Dutch).
  • Shared address books and calendars.
  • POP and IMAP access to email.
  • Complete support for S/MIME e-mail encryption available (official Sphinx interoperability).
  • Main components: OpenLDAP, Postfix, Cyrus IMAP, Apache, ProFTPd, SASL.
