Shorewall Support & Consultancy

Shorewall is a high-level tool for configuring iptables rules. It is a straightforward way of setting up a firewall.Shorewall is mainly used in network installations (as opposed to a personal computer firewall), since most of its strength lies in its ability to work with "zones", such as the DMZ or a 'net' zone. Each zone would then have different rules, making it easy to have for example relaxed rules on the company intranet, yet clamp down on traffic coming in from the internet.

Shorewall is open source software, which means that the user has the ability to change and customise it for their needs. Our consultants can provide expert support to manage and administer Shorewall installations.

credativ has the largest dedicated open source support team in Europe, with the capability to offer up to 24x7 coverage for any Shorewall installation. Our support contracts are priced competitively, starting at just £145 per month. This will cover any free software used by the customer - see our Open Source Support Centre for more.
