Debian Bug Squashing party hosted by credativ

Juelich, Germany 21 August 2006 ? After the freeze of the Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 base distribution codenamed Etch, the Debian developers at credativ are working round the clock fixing known bugs in the Debian project.

 

To support Debian a "bug squashing party" will be held at the credativ offices in Juelich Germany from 15th - 17th September. The three day event will bring together as many contributors to Debian as possible to work on fixing these bugs. credativ would like to invite all interested developers and contributors to the Debian project to join the bug squashing effort in Juelich.

 

The work will be coordinated by the Debian Stable Release Manager Martin Zobel-Helas (credativ) and the Debian Release Manager Assistant Marc Brockschmidt (credativ). All technical infrastructure and catering will be provided by credativ. Travel and accommodation is being organised by members of the Debian community in Germany.

 

The credativ group has been a supporter and contributor to the Debian project for a number of years and employs a large number of Debian developers. The Debian team at credativ includes:
