Rugby, UK. 13 November 2007 - credativ, an independent free software consultancy with offices in the UK, Germany and Canada, today announced that its UK Open Source Support Centre (OSSC) will provide support for all major free software distributions and applications.

Xandros enters German market with support from credativ

At the LinuxWorld Expo in Frankfurt, Xandros presented the new Xandros Desktop OS 3.1. The distribution is based on Debian GNU/Linux and is up against established distributions such as Novell/SuSE and Red Hat Linux in Germany. Yet the timing could be in their favour, as both of these distributions have mostly given up on the consumer market, and the sale of SuSE has also caused a number of users to look elsewhere.
